Summary
In this chapter the tour continues and the group is taken to the nursery. Here we see babies being trained not to be distracted with books or flowers. They do this because the community doesn't want them to be distracted with those things. They achieve this through electro shock training which they are "trained" 200 times not to touch them. On the other hand, they are showing them hatred for flowers because they believed they should try to increase consumption of goods. Instead of a love for nature which just increased transportation. Soon the director tells the kids of a story about how a polish kid learned a new language by accident from just listening to a broadcast. Lastly the students see the nurses tell the babies what they must do while there sleeping or give there class special orders.
This chapter still goes on describing the details in human production while explaining further about the dystopia these people live in.
