1) the floors being able to weigh you so it can give the best menu of food if your over weight, using your phone to see whose knocking on your door through a camera, lastly the counters reminding you what steps you did when cooking something.
2) People with poor memory or those who are really busy all the time. it can give reminders on what you need to do, or it can check things and d the tasks for you like groceries.
3) The idea of the houses both being able to prepare or complete tasks for you. Like how in both stories the houses were preparing breakfast for the family and telling them reminders about ahas going on today.
4) The oven being able to know when to stop cooking food if the adult is forgetful or busy doing something else. It can prevent hundreds of dollars being wasted on burnt or ruined food. It also decreases the chances of fires starting in the kitchen.
